Thickness

The thickness of the pre painted aluminum sheet is mainly related to the coating equipment. The usual coating equipment can process the color coated aluminum sheet with a thickness of 0.3-1.2 mm. The coated aluminum plate with such thickness range can satisfy most uses.

The painted aluminum sheet thickness can be divided into three parts: substrate thickness, coating paint thickness, and protective film thickness. Generally, the thickness of the single-coated paint film is around 15um, the thickness of the double-coated paint film is around 25um and the thickness of the paint film of the back coating is around 5-8um. The thickness of the protective film is usually 0.05 mm, and PE protective film is generally used.

Medium-viscosity or high-viscosity protective film is more suitable for the protective film of the color coated aluminum sheet which can avoid scratches in the process of pressing, bending or shearing.

Main Application

The pre painted aluminum sheet for roof is coated with a layer of fluorocarbon paint or polyester paint, which makes the aluminum plate have excellent characteristics such as UV resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and high weather resistance. The common alloys are 1100, 3003, 3004, 8011, 3105, 5052, etc. The thickness range is 0.18-2.5 mm. The common width 1000 mm, 1200mm and 1250 mm.
