The Annealing Process of Air Conditioner Aluminum Foil

The annealing process is the most critical process to control the temper of air conditioner aluminum foil. The cold-deformed structure is work hardened, and as the temperature increases during annealing, recovery and recrystallization will occur.

When the heating temperature is low, the cold deformation mainly recovers, and the recovery process appears as a polygonal process. A sub-crystalline structure is formed. With the increase of temperature and time, the size of the sub-crystal gradually increases, and the dislocation entanglement gradually disappears.

A sharp sub-grain boundary appears. Then as the temperature increases and the time increases, some the subcrystals coarsen to form the recrystallization core until recrystallization. For the aluminum foil for air conditioner with H22 temper after annealing, it should be composed of deformed fiber structure and a large number of fine, uniform, and dispersed recrystallized crystal nuclei.

For 8011 aluminum foil for sale, annealing is generally carried out at about 290℃. If the raw material for annealing has not been cleaned, it is necessary to add a degreasing section before annealing to ensure that there is no oil spot on the surface of the finished aluminum foil.

Annealing time depends on factors such as furnace load, product thickness, furnace temperature distribution uniformity, and annealing furnace thermal efficiency. Generally, if these conditions are not ideal, the annealing and holding time should be extended, but the holding time in the furnace should not exceed the time required for all the loaded products to reach the annealing temperature.
