During the manufacturing process, the coating kinds, thickness, pattern and hardness all can be customized according to the customers’ requirements. There are two commonly used coatings: polyester (PE) coated aluminum strip and fluorocarbon (PVDF) coated aluminum strip. There are cases where one side is coated with fluorocarbon and the other side is coated with polyester or both sides are coated with PVDF coating.

According to the coating thickness, the coated and embossed aluminum strip can be divided into single coating (4-20 microns), double coating (25-28 microns) and 3 coatings (35-38 microns). Then how to control its harness? It is a little complex question. Lets have a look together.

1. Setting and control of aluminum aging furnace temperature: Generally, there is a certain error between the aging furnace temperature and the apparent temperature of the aging furnace. The setting of the apparent temperature should be according to the actual temperature of the furnace.

2. Aging and heat preservation of colour aluminum strip: Aging should be carried out in strict accordance with the process requirements, and the heat preservation time should be appropriate to prevent under-ageing or over-ageing from causing insufficient hardness.
