5xxx aluminum sheet, that is Al-Mg alloy sheet, is the series with the best comprehensive performance among the eight aluminum alloys. The main alloying elements of the 5000 aluminum plate are aluminum and magnesium, of which the magnesium content is between 3% and 6%. 5052 aluminum plate is often used in the manufacture of aircraft and automobile fuel tanks, oil pipes, and sheet metal parts of transportation vehicles and ships, instruments, street lamp brackets and rivets, hardware products, electrical enclosures, etc.
5083 aluminum plate is of low density and high strength. It is commonly used in marine aluminum plate, lightweight automobile aluminum plate, and aluminum plate for tank truck.
