The maximum width of aluminum sheet for vehicles can reach 2650mm. The 4x8 aluminum sheet for trailers is 1219mm x2438mm. It has good corrosion resistance, good weldability, good cold workability and medium strength. Aluminum tank trucks are about 20% lighter than steel tank trucks of the same size, but their transportation capacity is increased by 30%. It is generally believed that those with a width of more than 1500mm are called wide aluminum plates, and those with a width of more than 2000mm are called ultra-wide aluminum plates. However, the production requirements for ultra-wide aluminum plates are very high, and not any manufacturer can produce them.
